Was named Rookie of the 1st playoffs round, before Tolvanen. Both have the same PPG, but Kravtsov is younger. Still I think Tolvanen deserves it more, that OT goal vs Sochi was a thing of beauty. But this isn't the reward, that is worth any arguments about.

Definitely impressive. I see he is signed in the KHL through next season..I wonder if that adds to the "russian factor" for some teams thinking of using a 1st rounder on him. Whereas a kid like Denisenko is not signed and is not being given any pro playing time, he may be more likely to come over and play juniors or AHL next season. The risk of Kravtsov staying and maybe extending with his team would be worrisome as a GM.

Its worrisome he'd be in a better development environment?

Denisenko won't be NHL ready for a couple of seasons at least. As to Kravtsov, he can be NHL ready exactly when his contract is over.

The developmental environment wasn't my point. As Kshahdoo stated, he's probably NHL ready when his KHL deal expires, which I agree with. But often kids getting KHL playing time and more money are not willing to come over soon (which is bad for an NHL team using a first rounder), and are less willing to come over if at all.

Tarasenko, Buchnevich, Kuznetsov - they are all in the NHL right now. As to Kaprizov... well, Minnesota management wasn't very persistent about getting him, unlike CSKA. As far as I know, Kravtsov's favorite player is Kuznetsov, so he wanna be like him and play in the NHL.

Already the second best point total for a U19 in the KHL playoffs. Since the KHL is only 10 years old, I checked out the RSL too. Already 6th place between the leagues (since 1992).

Only decent PPGs are Semin, Cherepanov, Kravtsov and Tolvanen. Nice company for both kids... I mean, Cherepanov would have become a star for sure, if not that tragedy.

That guy to the right (I mean, the bigger one) will be proud one day, he's on the same picture with a future hockey superstar.
