Looked pretty good at the U20 exhibition game yesterday. Will be a very important player for the WJC tournament.

Playing in Allsvenskan, especially this season, should be a no-brainer for all Swedish prospects who can.

Agree, quality of Allsvenskan should be higher than normal this year as well

Allsvenskan will be challenging enough for all players who have signed. Don't think a handful of players really change the quality of a league much. It's a far better developmental league than the SHL, for any teenager really.

Of course it changes the quality of the league. Even if just a handful , these are players that ordinarily would be in the SHL or the NHL if not for Covid. When you take a young prospect coming out of SuperElit and si now joining Allsvenskan, he now has that much more NHL level players that he gets to play with and against when ordinarily he never would have that chance. Just being around these quality of players is enough to have an influence and propel another younger prospect to a higher level.

Not the best production for Holmstrom so far, I expected alot more out of him in Allsvenskan tbh

Isles are pulling him back to America for training camp and presumably back to the AHL. Not sure if that's best, he still needs to develop a lot physically, he looks like a boy in the AHL.
