FWIW, I'm a fan of the player and don't put much into the slow start but lets not act like hes been good, he hasn't. These are facts.

That doesn't mean that hes going to continue to suck, I'll be shocked if he does. But his game is very limited, that much is apparent.

Limited in that outside of his shot and size, there isn't a whole lot that pops out about his game.

The shot is forever going to be his calling card and its already there which is good and he isn't afraid to shoot (sometimes to a detriment) but he isn't a guy who is ever going to drive the bus. Those skills arent there and when he isn't scoring, he just kind of exists.

This is false. Yes his shot is his bread and butter and he’s a big solid boy but he’s a really good skater, stick handler and playmaker.

He gets to where he needs to go just fine, but its not a strength.

His hands are alright, but nothing special.

I was never a big Chucky fan, I thik he's basically a PP sniping specialist who'll get you 25 goals or so. I think Wahlstrom has that in him, just he won't be doing at 18 like Chucky was. Hopefully he's in the league by 19 for @NotProkofievian sake lol

having a shot doesnt mean hes Chucky. Chucky has insane puck skills and was a much better prospect than Big W. I mean for all we know he could just be another Connoly of the Caps.

Wahlstrom has great puck skills too, but Connoly is possible.
