Will this kid ever make it in the NHL? Feels like he's been stuck in the A forever.

He played a handful of games recently in the NHL. He looked solid enough defensively and along the boards to handle a regular shift, while the team evaluates whether he'll be able to translate his offensive game.

I think he's a real darkhorse to be selected by Seattle... I think it will be him or L. Brown over one of the goalies.
For his sake, I hope Seattle does select him. It's only going to get harder to crack that Sens lineup with the likes of Pinto and Formenton coming up as well.

Agreed to sign with Traktor in the KHL for the next 2 seasons.

I hope this was done in conjunction with Senators' management. Great way for a smaller winger to delay his entry into the NHL till he's fully developed. Could be a huge shot in the arm in 3 years.

Still see him as kind of a tweener...a couple years in the KHL is ideal for all parties at this point IMO.

Sokolov is the more interesting Russian forward prospect on the Sens.
