A year ago it was quoted at the beginning of the second round, but the terrible season dropped it very low. How Sokolov in the 7th round will probably leave.

Good tournament for him. I think he raised his stock.

He has a bit of salt to his game, he works hard. I don't think he is purely an offensive player.

At the rink.
I don't think he is purely an offensive player.

What stood out to me the most about him today was his quickness on the back check. He was always right there and pressured the puck carriers in the neutral zone. Definitely a good game for him.

if you say hes super fast my wild could use him. we are already looking good with sokolov ; khovanov & kaprizov. i really believe the wild lack prospects with blazing speed.

Hey uh, what? This guy looked good every time he stepped on the ice. If you had told me he was drafted in the first round last year I wouldn't have batted an eye. Where is he going to get drafted this year? He looks like top 2 round talent for sure.

His size is a concern, but he is not soft. He has some grit to his game, showed good ability to kill penalties.

And obviously he has offensive skills.

I would pick him as high as second round, even as a 4th liner he can be an effective player.

Not sure he'd be that high with his size and the depth available in this draft. I think he's worthy of a pick but I don't know how high, maybe a 6th? He is a very slight kid. His body type reminds me a bit of Matthew Phillips and that's going to scare off teams and pro projections.
