We were going to take it to them anyway but i'm sure it gave them a little bit more motivation. They are all chl guys and it pissed them off to no end and......i'm sure they did'nt forget they were pulling that stuff during the Russian -Qmjhl series and it was payback time for that foolishness also. Don't worry U.S.A......we took care of business for you.Next year you can get them for yourselves if they get out of hand.

Give me a break. Canada plays to win for their country, not the USA.

Whatever.Don't pull the taunting stuff and you won't have to come here shaking your head for them. They still have to answer for it next year when they face them...they won't forget.

In Football it's common thing and it make it even a better sport to watch (no wonder why they have good TV ratings ) . I much rather see someone being a hotdog after a goal than Bryan Marchement looking to blow people legs or Todd Bertuzzi acting like a pre-historical animal .

This attitude of "Let's do such-and-such because it makes us more popular" makes no sense to me. So what if in Football players have no sportsmanship, doesn't mean hockey players have to be immature in that way. If there is one thing about Cherry that I like (and there are many) is that he likes to advocate good sportsmanship on the ice. It all really comes down to respect. You should have respect for the people you are playing against, and mocking demonstrates that you don't respect them, and that you are immature.

  10. The U.S players didnt have to ask Canada to beat Russia. They were gonna do it no matter what. Thank the Russians cockiness. That gave team Canada the boost they needed. :handclap:

    I've never trolled any thread.

I just express my unbiased opinion on threads that are being assaulted by biased Canadian fans ... especially those ridiculous discussions such as "Canada should host the WJC every 3 years" ...

The Canadians are just afraid of the reality.

That's exactly my point. When I say unbiased, I mean "unbiased" in the Canadian sense. Everyone is soooooo unbiased here!!!!!!!!!

As a francophone I'd like to know what's the difference between the 'Canadian sense' and 'France sense' of unbiased.

I don't see why not. Canadians are the only ones that even bother going to WJC games. Attendance everywhere else is a joke.

Also, Its strange how the majority of people here defending Ovechkin and Malkin are Europeans? Coincidence?

Let's just start with the fact that you are not unbias. The title of that thread is not "Canada should host the WJC every three years...: but instead "Canada wants to host the WJC every three years...."

"Wants to" as opposed to "should" but your "unbias" slant on all things Canadian can't see the difference. And the reason why Canada wants to host it every three years is because the IIHC has been complaining that most European countries could not support the event. Canada can support it and would like to host it every three years.

And yes, you do troll. You make ridiculous, insulting statements and/or predictions about Canada and Canadian hockey and when you're proven wrong you don't bother to face the music. I call that trolling and it's the most polite term I can think of in this public forum.

Don Cherry is a racist moron, high school drop out who hates anyone who is black, french or Russian and not an anglo-saxon. He hates european hockey too. But nothing like above mention people. He would be perfect as a grand master of KKK. This racist pig is getting money from Canadian tax payers and he is a laud voice of Canadian public TV. Which makes all Canadian tax payers racists too, tolorating this abuse on airwaves.

His favoured pickings are French Canadians and Russians. Hell with Russians, but he hates his own country men. This is so disturbing and reminds me the days of brown shirts of Germany.
