Russian hockey fans should be very excited for this team. They (players and coaches) bounced back from the adversity of the Czech game. They overcame adversity in the game against Sweden and came up clutch when it mattered. Larionov who was roundly criticized after the Czech game deserves praise for having the team ready to go last night and for adjusting things on the fly and having them work. The Russian players who were criticized for seeming lack of effort or emotion deserve praise for playing hard and giving an excellent Sweden team all it could handle. As a neutral observer it's impressive to me. Here's to more great games going forward and no injuries.
