Something tells me Russia's gonna get scored on early (as it usually happens) and then Canada will get some weird bounces going their way. Canada takes it 4-2.

Realistic guess: Russia wins. Canada didn't impress in their game of death against Finland. So Canada's ceiling is around that game performance at best. I'm hoping that Canada pulls the upset though, because underdogs winning is more fun.

It'll be a close Canada win or a blowout win for ROC IMO.

I have no expectations. Russia spends too much time on the perimeter for my liking. Their game against Sweden was just a sad, sad exhibition of unwillingness to go to the net.

Russia have to be considered favourites here, but they haven't looked unbeatable and Canada could finally find another gear

Always find it odd that ROC (Russia) add guys so late. You're the starting goalie with a .935 save % and on a hot streak, but step aside for a guy who's just arrived and on a different kind of streak.

It's a ballsy move, Samonov has too many flaws, but yet he is the guy who took you this far.....egg and a chicken problem.

Bragin's tactics is what potentially can lose Russia the game, staying to the boards, being extra careful and defensive...this type of hockey sux.

Canada 3-2.

I think it's a mistake to put Bob in right away (yes I think he's awesome but different ice and continent and hasn't played in at least 10 days).

I think ringers tend to backfire when brought in playoffs at WC. Screws up team chemistry.

Also, I think Canada has a good team.. 3 of the top 7 scorers and a very good NHL goalie. I think there will be more posts from Canadian hockey fans on the 2022 Olympic board talking about their best on best roster then here during the game.lol
