Running the sim on mac?

Is anybody running the sim client on a mac with Catalina OSX? I cant seem to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

The Mac client won't work on 64 bit and the mono software programmer who did the part of the work we need is sadly no longer with us, so its doubtful it will ever be upgraded. I've gone to Windows 7 installed on a VM VirtualBox as the best workaround.

EDIT: I forgot I changed to Virtual Box
