Probably looking for name prospects. Ultimately this team won’t get respect until some of those prospects start making contributions in the NHL.

The Hayes trade set it all up for him, Stone will assuredly get more than 1st+decent young player now. It'll be really tough for him to screw this one up.

He was asking for too much and the Jets looked elsewhere. He’s already screwed it up.

I guess that’s premature. We’ll see what he ends up doing.

Glad the Oilers didn’t trade Kassian earlier in the year, glad to hear they probably won’t trade him at this deadline. He showed his value in the San Jose series, he’s showing his value now. It’s unfortunate we don’t have meaningful games for him to really unleash.

100% agree....Kassian's value will never be higher than right now. He's also prone to taking dumb penalties because he lets his emotions get too high. He's a perfect fit for a team looking for a little bite in the playoffs but he should not be part of the Oilers long term plans.
