Posts from the previous thread:

Manning for Granlund.

Would Vancouver do it?

Whats up with Eaves being waived? injuries?
I know he's old but wasn't he putting up pts not long ago

He has some really messed up health issues. He wasn't even producing in the AHL this year.

On October 23, 2017, after experiencing trouble breathing and weakness in his legs, Eaves was initially diagnosed with Guillain–Barré syndrome, an autoimmune nervous disorder.[19] However, when he visited a Guillain–Barré specialist, it was determined he did not have GB, but something else entirely.[16] Eaves went to numerous doctors and physical therapists and eventually regained strength in his limbs and lungs.[16] The eventual diagnosis was post-viral syndrome.[16]

He’s barely played this season and last.

This season the only point he has came while he was in the minors.

Makes over 3 mill a season.

Ah, that's too bad. ****ty.

They don't have to because the Oilers do a great job neutralizing McDavid as it is.

Lol 30 teams passed on Spooner and Manning, doubt Petrovic will be any different.

3rd time a charm?

I can't imagine that McDavid's agents wouldn't have made it known to the Oilers that he wouldn't stand in the way of a trade out of Edmonton by now. Perhaps he enjoys the pain of being an Oiler, but I am speculating he will be gone from Edmonton soon. There is no fixing this mess.

What we know leading up to the deadline:

-Gretzky tried dealing Manning to no avail; placed him on waivers yesterday but he cleared this morning. Manning has been assigned to Bakersfield.

-The Oilers scouting staff were (still are?) heavily scouting the Bruins and their AHL club as recent as last week.

-The Oilers scouting staff were in attendance at the Blackhawks & Blue Jackets game the other night.

Trade deadline is Monday, February 25, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. EST (1:00 p.m. MST).

*MODS: I forget to add "Rumors and Proposals" in the title; if one of you could edit that in, that would be appreciated!

OBC is going to go down swinging, despite the fact we are closer to dead last than a wildcard spot. I wouldn’t let these guys do any trades except for some expiring contracts for picks.

If he can trade Petrovic, Chiasson, and at least one player with term on his contract I'll be pleased.

I really haven't heard anything as of late with the Bruins. Even when the last thread was around, what was really talked about in the media?

I haven't heard anything concrete beyond the fact they seem to keep showing up at B's games.

My prediction:

Petrovic, Gravel, and Rieder traded for picks
Chiasson signed to a contract extension for too much $ and/or term

Granlund for Manning is a big fat no from Vancouver

Eaves contract Lucicitis . It is really quite common . Get a big fat retirement contract play hard year one and decide why risk hurting myself I am getting paid anyways .

I don't want Eaves' contract but he has actually been injured.

It's not that he doesn't want to risk getting hurt it's that he's literally played a total of 14 games in the last two seasons and 5 of those were in the minors.
