Not surprised. He was injured most of the season I think the Oilers needed to move on. I love the player, don't get me wrong, but he is just extremely unlucky with injuries. Khaira, Slepyshev and Caggiula basically replaced him.

Good luck Pitlick, where ever you go.

Yeah, too bad the injury occured just as Pitlick was finally putting together a strong season. probably would have scored 20 goals in a full season. Somebody will give him a shot for a league minimum.

Keep your eye on the target....4-5 RHD who can play up to 2nd pair for a while until Sekera is back. UFA or expiring contract so we can make a call on our developing 3rd pair next spring. Need flexibility and room for the young guys to grow.

Not surprised about Pitlick - no room with 13 one way contract already - and we might want to add a vet.
