That explains why their twitter, facebook, and 'gram posts keep pushing the "Golden season" so hard.
I am impressed, though, that marketing has paid enough attention to fans to realize that they need to go back to the royal blue. How are they gonna f*** it up though? Royal Blue jerseys with the slug classic on the front?

It doesn't have nostalgic value for me but I think it looks much better.

Sometimes undistinguishable from black on TV, and navy is such a bland color there's barely a color "identity". Fans don't stand out wearing sabres gear
