Excellent news. Would be better if Schultz were out, too, to thin that already paper-thin defence... but I'm glad he seems to have recovered from a humanitarian standpoint.

Hm. I had heard Hornqvist, Daley and Schultz all did? Sure sounds like he's in Ottawa.

Okay. Found what I heard, it was from yesterday:
Trevor Daley (lower body) is "making progress," according to coach Mike Sullivan.
"The next step is joining the team for practice," Sullivan added. "That's an indication that he's that much closer." Daley has missed four straight games with a lower-body injury, but he has been skating on his own lately. May 16 - 2:41 PM

So I guess he's practicing now.

Not a lot of offense from their D if Schultz doesn't play. Streit could be a threat but otherwise that's a big chunk missing.

The other quote I heard from Sullivan made it sound like Streit was a sure thing to be playing tonight.

So maybe there's some gamesmanship going on

Schultz missed most of game 2 and Pitt did just fine hemming the Sens in their own zone.

Sens need more jump in their step. Waiting until 4 mins left in the game to try and score won't work. If they play with that pressure all game and hound the wimpy Pens D then we might have something to work with.

Also, if Daley does play, you gotta hit him every chance you get. He went from not skating at all with the team to likely jumping into the game tonight. Take advantage of that. He's not shifty enough to avoid contact.
