Fedotov in net for a win today, 4-3 over Omskie Yastreby.

Faced 18 shots. .833 sv%.

2 of the 3 goals against were PP goals... one a 5v3. He then conceded an EV goal with 5 seconds left in the game.

Always love to see the "oversees" guys bumped up our discussion page by you. Nice to have the updates on guys we don't hear much about.

Thanks for all of them!

Fedotov just got a 4-3 win for Reaktor.

He allowed 3 goals on 28 shots for a .893 sv%.

Though apparently the 2nd and 3rd goals were pretty good shots that went top shelf.

Do MHL teams have KHL affiliates like AHL => NHL? So if Fedotov or Vorobyov play well they might see KHL time, or are these two separate things and they are both in the MHL all season regardless?

Yep.

The MHL teams (well, most of them) have a KHL parent club.

Fedotov has already spent some time on the KHL roster this year and last year when injuries hit his clubs KHL team.

Well, he's behind the Swede!

Really no expectations for a couple years, if he's in the KHL by age 20 and playing decently, that's a good 7th rd pick, anything more is a steal.

I like the posts on the first page of this thread. "Well I've obviously never heard of this guy, but not a fan of this pick."

That was some of it. I think another part was that it was the third goalie of the draft. Fine with me, with goalies you just never know so if you like him, then get him.

They managed it well. Lottery ticket in the 7th to hold a kid's rights. Signed a CHL kid they had interest in as an undrafted free agent.
