Not bad for a 19 year old.
Does he want to come over next year? Will his contract block him?

His contract is up at the end of the year.

Whether he will come over is likely undecided... Flyers might think it is better to have him play another year in Sweden on one of the leagues best teams and possibly even push for senior international games. Like they did with Lindblom.

Him and his Vaxjo team will be playing in the Champions Hockey League final today at 12:45 EST.

He actually did a lot of media for it yesterday himself, spoke as one of team representatives at press conference etc.

Really nice to see that Vaxjo have taken this tournament seriously. It has the potential to be great if more big teams actually bothered like they have. Hopefully it is start of a trend.

Little video on their path to the final: Road to the Final: Växjö Lakers

Hope some of you can tune in. Should be streamed legally here: Matches

No, but I don't see any reason why he will or should leave Sweden yet. He's getting good minutes over there.

He may well be better off in Sweden but the Phantoms seem to have huge hole on the left side of their defense for next year.

I think he plays at least one more season there. In the meantime they can use the contract slot and roll the dice on a college (or European) free agent next season to fill out the Phantoms roster.

Which they filled with this Palmquist guy, who seems like a decent enough career AHLer.

Well, MacDonald's contract is up in two years, we'll need a smooth, all around defenseman to replace him. :sarcasm:

Problem is where does he play here?
Say one season in the AHL to acclimate to NA ice and style of play.
2020-21 - Provorov, Sanheim, Morin, ahead of him? Does Ghost stay at RHD?

1st world problems.
