Seems like good value for this spot. He and axel could've been flipped and no one would bat an eye.

Hopefully management keeps this kid at C and let's him build and expand on his game. He's got speed, skill and a wicked shot.

Not so sure about that number 13

What about 83?

Sounds like another solid center pick to me.

Glad to see they're making a focus of that

Scott Bradley indicated the bruins had him graded as a 1st round pick. Not sure if I buy that considering they passed on him at 57..maybe they had Anderson as a 1st as well? Either way fairly encouraging. Boston got 2 guys they had 1st round grades on

Supposedly he his rights are held by Rouyn-Noranda of the QMJHL. Would it be better for his development to come here and play or to stay in Czech?

Like this kid the best out of our draft picks today and think he adds a lot to the center group.

His skating and two-way game easily translate to the modern NHL and he has enough offensive upside to hope he can turn into a middle six type of center.

I also believe in playing against men at a younger age speeds up the development of good players and should better prepare him for what he is going to see in the AHL and NHL going forward.

His attitude is also very telling about his character, I hope he keeps that hunger to prove people wrong.

Kid has first line center skills. I would not be shocked if he's in Providence 9 months from now.
