Now, it's time to talk about it.
It's either Vegas or Colorado.
You do you want to win that serie?
I would prefer Avs only because Vegas is big, tough, and deep so not as good a match-up for Les Habitants.
Avs are best matchup for Habs IMO....lack defensive awareness & have little depth after Superman line
Doesn't matter as long as that series goes 7 and has multiple overtimes
I have watched three of their games and would pick Colorado. Avs remind me of Toronto. They've got one outstanding scoring line and they are kinda soft. Their goalie may allow weak goals. Knights are bigger and possess more grit. We love to lose to such kind of teams
Seriously don't care.
I don't have faith in Grubaur.
I think we are cooked either way, but I actually think the Avs are a better matchup for us. Habs have shut down Matthews, Marner, Scheifele(1 game I know), Wheeler, Connor, and Ehlers. Mack and Rantanen are obviously better players, but the Habs play better when they limit superstars imo.
Both are very good teams.
Give me either, they will equally be hard
I voted Vegas for their fans and to play in their building.
Avs seem like a young one-line team that doesn't know how to win in the playoffs though. And Vegas is battle tested.
Colorado. Younger and fewer guys that have been there before. Also, they'll be physically hurting after 2-3 more games vs the Knights.
I agree, I want that serie to go in 7 game.
And if they want to hurt themselves in the process......who am I to object...
Avs are the competent version of the leafs and Vegas is the competent version of the Jets
It comes down to stylistic matchups
They are both great team but Vegas seem bigger, deeper I think Colorado could be just has tuff be we might have better odds
Doesn’t really matter.
Both would be really tough opponents.
Honestly having never faced Colorado in playoffs is a bit of a shame, considering.
plus it's way easier to root for them and they have some amazingly fun players to watch and root for
Ready for both.
Not to be a downer, but it's going to suck if Petry isn't able to stick handle and shoot at 100%.
As long as he can defend. Other guys will have to step up on offense.
I have to say Nathan MacKinnon scares me more than anyone on the Vegas roster.
Avs because it would be hilarious if they lost to another bad team with Corey Perry in it
Vegas because Danault vs Stephenson would be the greatest 1C clash
Bigger, faster, stronger, more depth, more firepower, grittier, and a goalie who can match ours.
On one hand, Makar and Mackinnon are scary scary scary.
On the other hand, Pac will have a chip on his shoulder big time.
I have no idea.
as long as they go 7 games and murder each other through the last 3, i don't really care.
Avs would be sweet as far as a chance to finally put to rest the ghosts/bad juju from the Roy trade...
Any chance they allow more than 2500 fans for next round?
