I originally bought 300 level tickets but my group really wanted lower level so we purchased another 4 down low yesterday. Went to sell my tickets back through the Canes system and their suggested price that it defaults to is $400 per strip ($100 per ticket per game). If you are wondering why the tickets are marked up like they are, it's because TM is essentially forcing it.

Thing is I have no idea how many are also listed right now as the 300 level was intentionally held out of yesterday's sale, so I can't compare my listing to others. If they don't sell right away I'll readjust the price later this afternoon to hopefully ensure someone gets in.

If any of the regulars here wants in, hit me up, and I might be able to make something work.

Similar situation here - the 'recommended price' lower level North is currently $189 PER seat PER game ($89 tickets)!!! Though I did see some listings at $399 - damn people jacking the prices and messing with the recommended price. Hopefully people aren't buying those!

I hope it isn't needed but after seeing people say they were seeing them on sale early I was able to pickup a ticket for game 7 this morning. Worked better for me this time as a weekend game.

to be clear I’m not referring to fans like you AT ALL.

There are people who make a business out of hoarding tickets and reselling. Real canes fans selling for various reasons are a totally different matter.
Oh I know, it's just annoying that the price they ask us to put upper level tickets on sale is basically twice the value they originally cost. Makes us all look like scalpers, but with TM taking a hefty fee per ticket (it's like $25 per ticket) you almost have to price them high just to break even. They also force an artificial price floor so there is an amount I can't go under. That sucked in 2019 when I had tickets that I just couldn't use and was looking to offload for anything I could get.

I've seen some on stubhub, too. Not incredibly surprised -- ticket hustlers / scalpers always find a way lol.

I mean considering TicketBastard actively works with them there should be no surprise on this.

I spent a fair amount of time looking into the cheapest tickets possible in the past and I've come to believe that teams release a certain number of tickets as a pool that various online resellers can tap into. Wouldn't surprise me if they were contractually obligated to do this for high demand events in order to get the e-sellers to sell the product the rest of the time.

E.g., I just checked and TickPick has some of the same seats listed as StubHub. TickPick's are a little more ($125 per) but they have no additional fees. StubHub lists them at $114 but I have little doubt they'd come out much more expensive once you jumped through all the hoops to figure out the additional service and delivery fees they tack on.

When I went to resale my lower bowl shoot twice side corner seats, the recommended was 252. I didn’t put that high but still

Its stupid because they have general admission tickets at center ice lower bowl for $200 but resale tickets in the 300s corner for $150.

Why would you pay $150 to be up in a corner when you could be at center ice for $200?
If you're bringing 2+ people that's 100+ dollars you could save for dinner or whatever else.

Im a little surprised that the game isn’t sold out yet. 8 o clock start on Monday might be tough for some. Prices are well higher than normal too. Its the playoffs.

IMO the biggest factor here is the timing of ticket sales outside the STM base. Most fans have only had one day's notice to jump on high-priced tickets to a Monday 8pm game. There was no time for demand to build for that extra 6K.

I was planning on trying to take a day off, make the 4-5 hour trek to Raleigh, get a hotel to sleep for like 4 hours then drive back to make it back for work by 9-10 AM the next day so I didn't have to take an extra day off. The 8 PM start is the killer, especially if there's an OT god forbid multiple OTs. I still might try to do it on Wednesday. YOLO.
