That was last season. On Oct. 2nd when the season start they both start with the same amount of PTS...0
Let me be the voice of reason as usual.

What he means to say is they haven't made enough improvements to overtake the habs who had a 20 point lead on them.

All these lists are our just “list the consensus best teams in order.” Largely consisting of years placings with tad different order to “make things different” with one or two team Changes. Hey, I’ve done this before summer after summer so I’m not throwing anyone under the bus.

It’s just If NEVER works out that way.

Every year at least five surprises, whether it’s three in the bad way and two in the good way (and probably more) or vice versa ....but let’s say even if if you realize this and were to put those surprises in your list your mocked and laughed , damned if you do damned if you don’t, lol

My list would be something like the first guys I guess.

The metro and central are complete crapshoots. Not crap, crapshoots.

Arizona and Chicago both making it over the 1st place team from last year. Interesting, I knew losing Hathaway would kill us.

No idea.

But the central division is going to be A MONSTER this year

I think the Atlantic will be better IMO, I agree that the central should consist of the most good teams, but I think their top contenders like the jets and press aren’t what they were, their windows haven’t closes they must have lost a step, and maybe they do the same this year again....as history has proven the blues are in tough to repeat but should be solid for sure, Dallas and Colorado aren’t there yet, I know everyone is avs crazy as being the next top team and hey with Bryan and Makar at the back on top of The front why not. It’s just I don’t think grub and the depth is quite there yet. Kadri helps a ton but I think they’re a couple years Way maybe even just one year from being a top team. Dallas is like philly you just never know every other year but seems ahead of Philly overall, Chicago is in their retool, not convinced they’re a playoff team and the wild are get ripped on but they still have a ton of good players at every position too.

I totally get how the Atlantic’s crap teams are crap but they also seem to have bright Futures way down the road in sens case, the top tier teams is what makes this decision for me IMO. Juggernaut bolts, Boston’s run, Toronto should win a series one of these years and Florida, Montreal and buffalo have good pieces, should compete for wildcards, as the top three seem to be a clear cut certainty.

I mean Florida would of made The playoffs over Colorado last year so it’s not just the top Teams either. And they have great kids coming up, added Bobrovsky and coach q.
