Nah I'm pretty sure he's a UFA. He's been in the league for a long time and signed a 7 year contract at one point.

Only Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - CapFriendly - NHL Salary Caps says he's signed. Everywhere else I read suggest he's a UFA.

He's a UFA or signed I think the discrepancy between everyone is interpenetrating when his 7 year extension actually kicked in... 2013/ or 2014.
