A full, injury-free season of Marek Svatos.
50+ games of Milan Michalek.
40+ games from Lehtonen.
40+ of Dion Phaneuf
Thomas Vanek
Nicklas Kronwall
Alex Ovechkin
Jeff Woywitka
(maybe) Robbie Schremp

(Parise is talented, but he's still a boy among men when it comes to strength & endurance.IMO he'll get noticably manhandled if he plays over 30 games next year.)

I should have put Vanek on the list but I am not 100% sure he will play in the NHL

Vanek and Michalek, especially, will be very intresting to watch because they are both mature physicall.

Michalek could be 6'2 230-235 by the start of the seasone when ever it may be.
Easly one of the bigger forward in the league

Think about it

He could wieght mre then Joe Thornton withough losing any acceleration

Vanek here.

1) Best offensive prospect Buffalo has had in a long time (unless you bought into the Afinogenov hype post draft).

2) Can't wait to see that wrist shot unload on some goalies.

Schremp and Phaneuf aren't going to be in the NHL next year if there is a season. Schremp won't be there the following year either.

Geez people. He said NOT from your favorite teams.

Lehtonen, Ovechkin and Phaneuf are probably consensus top 3.

Parise and Stewart would be my other two.

Does anyone think any 1st rounder from the 2004 draft class will play this year? Ovechkin, Malkin, and Barker were the only 3 deemed to be NHL ready, but Ovechkin and Malkin will be costly to bring over this year and its already been said that Barker will be in the WHL one more year.

2004 draftees aside:
Lehtonen
Zherdev (rookie?)
Babchuk

Lehtonen and Woywitka.

Carter if he's signed from my fav team. Especially if by some miracle Hitch throws Gagne on his line.

As a Wild fan, we finally get to see what we got in Mikko Koivu. I don't know if O'Sullivan will be on the team this year. Also a full season of Rikkard Wallin, and perhaps Kyle Wanvig, should be interesting.

Other rooks I'm interested in also have Minnesota connections - Zach Parise and Thomas Vanek.

If he's signed, I'm really looking forward to seeing Jeff Carter for the Flyers. There's been a lot of build up for him and I really hope he is what everyone think he is or even better.

I'm also looking forward to Joseph Balej and Fedor Tuytin. I saw a lot of them during the playoffs down in Hartford.

And of course Ovechkin. I got his jersey from his russian team so I hope he does good.

Since the "rookies of the year" are rarely the ones we project at the start of the season...

Since I don't know all the more obscur prospects of every team...

I'll go with a homer and risky choice : Thomas Plekanek, Montreal Canadians.
