Ekholm/Bartley or Ellis

They should just move Ellis to wing and be a PP QB as well....lol.

The other issue is if Bartley or Ekholm can play the right side on their offhand well. If that is an issue I can see Bartley being sat tomorrow.

Ekholm Ellis please. Also, I love the look of Jones-Weber, Josi-Klein. Basically, it tells teams you only have 13 minutes to try and get one by the goalie.

Hopefully, this makes the defense stronger

I never typed Ellis should get 20 min a night nor does he need/deserve it. He should get about 10-12 ES mins plus PP time.

My thinking is seeing toward the end of tight games like this:

Jones/Weber
Ekholm Klein
Josi/Weber
Ekholm Klein
Jones/Weber
repeat

That is assuming Ekholm continues to play as well as he is. If not, Josi can slide with Klein and we put Ekholm and Ellis out only in advantageous situations.

We'll carry seven D for the first few games of the road trip imo. I don't think you see a solid Josi / Klein 2nd pairing for at least 1-2 weeks until any lingering concussion doubts are laid to rest.
