Her journey was certainly difficult. At times in the past... it felt like the mental part of the game was her biggest hurdle. But yeah, you can hardly find a more dedicated player. I am not a big fan but she deserves it for sure.

I give Thiem a punchers chance tomorrow. He is obviously a big underdog and if Nadal is on then he doesn't have much chance.

Nadal contending an 11th RG final is pretty insane. I thought (wrongly) that his physical style would have him being retired by now. What's perhaps the most impressive thing about him is his fighting spirit, he approaches every point the same and plays like his life depended on it. To do that day in and out on tour for 16 years is mind-boggling.
