    What exactly has he done to warrant being a HC?

    Wasn't he assistant coach on mostly bad teams including his father's thru career

    Thought JVG had this.

    It is quite curious that they would hire a first time HC for a veteran roster thats built to win. I guess it worked out with Nurse but at least he had a lot of success in the G league. Silas has never been a HC at any level.
