Soooo Johnny Gaudreau is 4th in the entire NHL in goals this season. That was a serious shocker to see. 20 goals in his last 23 games. Didn’t know he had that in him.

It’ll be hard to beat the GOAT but Skinner has been able to find the net without Eichel.

This one could be close. 1 goal apart with 39/40 games left.

Skinner really pushing for it. He'll get OV mad if he's not careful.

And to think he's had about 10 breakaways in the last 5-6 games(serious) with only scoring once, if he figures that out...look out!

Landeskog is on pace for 51, would be most ever by a Swedish player. Not the guy I would've picked to break the record.

5 players on pace for 50 goals. Will be interesting to see how many actually get there.

Laine and Pastrnak have really cooled off.

3 goals in his last 19 games for Laine and 6 goals in his last 19 games for Pastrnak.

While I would obviously like to see Tavares possibly win the Rocket Richard award him just being in contention for it is great, because the more goals he keeps scoring helps the Leafs win whatever games they are playing.

I find it hilarious that Brayden Point is somehow a legit contender in this. His skillset is more in line with a two-way playmaker. He scores goals on IQ.

Hilarious that Brayden fricken Point and Jeff Skinner are 2 front runners in the Rocket Richard race at the half way mark, those wouldn't even be anyone's top-20 entering the season.

Landeskog has already passed his career high (26). It's a strange year

I think there is a very solid chance McDavid breaks 50. Past 2 years he has had insanely strong 2nd halfs, and he is currently on pace anyways.

Don't think he'll win the rocket from Ovi, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up as high as 2nd place.

The only one I see keeping pace with ovy is Tavares, and mcdavid, but I could be completely wrong.

As long as the Avs keep that line together, I wouldn't count out MacKinnon or Landeskog. Laine could go on a torrid stretch at any time to get back into it. A handful of guys within 7 goals. Should be a fun 2nd half.

I keep expecting regression from Skinner since he's shooting far above his career % but he just keeps chugging along. Weird

I'm also surprised that Point has so many PPGs, 12/28 is a pretty high number - I would expect a bit of regression there too since power plays can go through droughts but who knows

Ovi wins this comfortably. No one in this era is good enough to compete with him in that department.
