Next year Lukkonnen and Johansson will be the Amerks goaltending tandem?

Johansson has a .924 save % in 5 AHL appearances.

It's okay if those two end up actually earning the two AHL jobs, but it would be very concerning if they went into the season without a veteran option down there.

Haha sorry I just saw you guys complaining about a goalie

The goalies are probably one of the weakest aspects of the Amerks. Wedgewood has been good enough to get the job done despite some shaky showings. Wilcox is a trainwreck and probably won't be back next season. And Johansson just isn't good enough, he'll be a career AHLer at best.

Cincy is having a great season. Unfortunately with them being the Sabres ECHL affiliate and playing second fiddle to the Amerks, there are very few Sabres prospects on the team(Glotov, Peterson, Stephens, Johansson, and a couple others) and those that are, are long shots to ever make it to the show.

On a related note...does Pegula actually own the Cincy team?

I see UPL playing as starter in Cincinnati
Johansson and a vet in Rochester

20/21 full time in Rochester for UPL

Marty spent all of 2 games in South Carolina. Can't see a guy like UPL getting more than that in the ECHL.

Nice job by the Amerks, creating a feature called "How Swede It Is" with players discussing Swedish phrases in front of a picture of . . . Denmark. I hear they're preparing a "Made In The U.S.A" feature with players filmed in front of a picture of Melbourne.
