Welp, 6K bit on what would be the only goal of the shootout. Entertaining finish at the very least, could really use some wins though.

Don't think I've ever seen a hockey game where a team got three 5 on 3s/4 on 3s after it looked like they refused to do the same for the Amerks with their no calls.

The only goal I didn't like against UPL was the 2nd one, felt like he could've challenged the shooter more to take the angle away. 1st goal was just a good screen and shot and the 3rd was about as flukiest of a bounce you will get, it should've bounced out the other way but came straight back out.

At least Mitts scored again off his own rebound.

Also, I still love Vevhelainen. Columbus has a really good heir-apparent to Bob with Merzlikins as well.

UPL looked good. If he had set the world on fire last night, the commentary is likely much more needy among vocal fans to have him thrust into the spotlight. It's probably better for him (and ultimately them) if he continues on his present course.

I liked Oglevie again last night. He's just a guy, very straight line, very pro-style.
