OT: Robert Guertin Arena scheduled to be demo'd in 2018 - Olympiques future in doubt?

I can't see any chance that the Olympiques play out of such a small arena... I mean, the seating capacity is 1,250. That's TINY.

The Nepean Raiders play in front of bigger crowds than that.

Oh it's definitely not ideal. Depends on what the Piques want - would they rather stay in Gatineau, or take a larger arena in Ontario for 1-2 years?

The major problem is that almost every single arena in Gatineau is dilapidated and barely functioning as rec league rinks, let alone a Major Junior one.

Yeah, CIH is also fairly small....checking their page the main arena is 2,000 seating. Still small. Most CHL arenas probably need to be around the 5k+ range.....but, I think it might be the biggest one in the area (outside of the Civic Centre and CTC)
