He would be comparable to Mike Riberio except he is more of a goal scorer than a playmaker. He has a set of wheels on him, that's for sure.

3/4th liner who shows flashes of goal scoring ability... nothing special

He's not strong enough away from the puck to be a third or fourth liner, unless he is a powerplay specialist. His entire career will depend on his ability to put up points at a professional level.

3rd liner, if he works his *** off, 2nd liner, if he goes on steroids, franchise player.

I can see him being a Greg Lougainis type of player. Very good at diving. But in all reality, he does have some good offensive skills, is very fast, and has a booming shot.

I played hockey with a guy who captained the badgers a few years back, and he said Earl is very confidant about his ability, almost to a fault.

and with the championship being won, I would imagine Toronto will be sending an offer sheet Mr. Earl's way.

He is.

At the draft, he said and I paraphrase, "Toronto got a steal by picking me"

And after the semi-final /before yesterdays final, he said:

""I am one of the premier players in college hockey, and I showed it tonight and I'll show it Saturday night.""

:biglaugh: :biglaugh: lol @ Toronto prospects

Let me see:

Earl's MVP at the Frozen Four, Pogge's MVP at the the WJC and various other recognitions, and Rask's top goalie honour at the WJC.

If Quinn is gone at the end of the year. Another year under Quinn will completely screw him up.
