There were guys who came out of their jerseys and Ray might have been the best. McSorley and Probert often too and it put their opponents at a real disadvantage......eventually came the tie down rule which for me was a long time coming but needed to happen. Otherwise on Ray he fought pretty much everyone and he wasn't the biggest guy......a lot of those he fought were bigger. He didn't lose very many. Ray had punching power and he hurt quite a number of guys and had some legitimate knockouts.
