pavel bure had 18 games when he played over 30 min in the 2001-2002 season, including 6 straight game ( last 2 where he played 36 and 40min). 33:52 being the max in regular time.

He has very good stamina.

I remember when he was out with a broken hand for a month or two.m and in his first game back Dallas Eakins played him close to 30 minutes.

The way McLellan coaches he’s more Eakins than Babcock.

The TOI numbers at Hockey-Reference are not accurate.

NHL.com has the official statistics. Bure never played more than 29:57 at any point in his career from the moment the NHL started logging TOI, and that game featured OT. It took place in 1997.

Alex Kovalev has the most single-game minutes of the 2001-02 season. He played 29:56 with the Penguins in a game against Carolina on February 5, 2002. Robert Lang has the second-most minutes in a game in 2001-02 with 29:54 against the Islanders on January 24, 2002. Kovalev has the third-most with 29:52 against Anaheim on March 13, 2002.

The Penguins' coach at the time was Rick Kehoe.

Just to make sure, how did you know that hockey -reference is not accurate? Because between a 30 min game and a 40 min game, that's kind of really not accurate if true.
