I would be ECSTATIC if the Ducks managed to steal Ellerby....he is not that great in the defensive zone but he has a fairly high ceiling.

Don't think the Leafs would take Sweatt. Maybe if the draft goes like that up to their pick. They'd be more likely to take Esposito or Eller.

Personnally, You dropped Keaton Ellerby A ridicoulos amonut, he should switch with mcdonagh, he wont go that high. I like David Perron to the flyers though.

A lot of the mocks have put Couture at number 9 for the Blues, but for the life of me I don't know why. The guy is slow and it really shows. Don't think Jarmo will be satisfied with Couture, who as I see as a 2nd liner at best and probably lower, when Eller and Espo are still available. I think with Murrary as the coach, the ultimate motivator, the Blues will be willing to take the risk of Espo's attitude being overblown or go with the Swede. Couture, in my opinion, doesn't fall in the first half of the round

i don't think Cherepanov will go at #4.

Nice pick at 28 with Washington, Cross is good.

A few weeks ago I would have agreed with no Cherepanov at #4, but the fact that he made the combines and apparently in good spirits made me change my mind. Chere is a gamble because of the transfer agreement, but he also has homerun talent. LA may swing for the fences if they don't land Turris or trade the pick. Frolov may be an influencial cog in the bringing over and signing of the Russian. He has the talent to play right away. Just saying it wouldn't surprise me if LA drafted him.
