I am a bit disappointed in the road trip because we gave away the game in Columbus and in Dallas. I am pleased with 3-2-1 overall, but we could have easily been 5-1-0

Yeah.
We let that game slip by. In another world, we're 4-1-1; that'd have been killer. Oh well, they've been good, I hope they keep getting better.

I don't think we ever stood a chance in Columbus. Sometimes you just get completely outplayed. Nothing wrong with that. If anything we should've beat the Wings

That’s all we need our backup to do. Come in and make some good saves and give the team a chance. Again, I’m not gonna start bashing Lack, but he wasn’t getting the job done. Smith can’t play every game, there’s lots of reason to be happy about this. Good for Rittich.

Strange trip in that regards:
Played well against the Wings, and the goalies collapsed while the other stood tall.
Outplayed Washington, Colorado, Caps and the Stars.
Got absolutely owned by Columbus.

Not bad, if we continue to play well, we'll win more than we lose.
