I think Rielly was better last year and this year he has been the best dman in the league hands down.
hopefully he keeps it up and settles in as a legit #1D, top 15-20ish in the league at his position

What facts? I watch both players a lot, and while Trouba is a little better defensively and more physical, the offensive output of Rielly is way too great to ignore anymore.

All you need to do is look at a few advanced stats. Reilly simply can't play defense that well, so it really isn't close. (This isn't where I voted Leafs though).
