Interesting, hope it works out for him.

Of course, makes you wonder a bit as he has some similarities to Lamar Jackson and would be a good guy to have around to teach him some things..

RGIII isn't capable as #1 anymore and will not be able to get away with some of the antics/diva like behavior that turned DC locker room against him. He wont be able to ignore coaches like he did in past either

He should realize how close he is to being out of football and that this is his final chance

A poor camp and the Ravens could move on before season even starts. That said baring an injury to Flacco doubtful we see much of RGIII if he is on team anyway

Overall a minor signing with very little downside nor upside

"Diva behaviour" if Shanahan hadn't done the stupid thing and kept him a game when he was clearly injured, he'd still be the 'Skins starter.

No he wouldn't. RGIII couldn't read a defense if his life depended on it and the option offense that was run would have ended up getting him killed. The natural talent was evident with RGIII, but he never bothered studying a playbook or learning how to read defenses. As what others have said about RGIII, he was more concerned with building his brand than playing the game.

If anything, this off-season was the year of GM's quietly telegraphing some of their draft moves. Once RG3 was signed you could start connecting the dots to Jackson going here.

As a Steelers fan I was hoping the Ravens would roll with Flacco for awhile, but it will be hard to cheer against Lamar Jackson as the league needs exciting players.
