Brodeur smashing his stick in 09 was when I started to develop a sense of schadenfreude.

I dont think it can be stated enough how big a victory this was. New Jersey was on such a roll going into this series and they were not going to let that game 1 beating affect them.

This game ended them for the year.

The shot, the overtime, the game that made me a hockey fan.

The emotional roller coaster at the end of regulation was just wild. PNC was jumping, then the air went completely out of the building, then that explosion of joy. Not many games like that in a lifetime.

I made my parents stay, 12 and dumb and actually yelling at the people in my section “there’s still 20 seconds left” as they were leaving the building. Whenever that game comes up my mom just goes “you called it.”

It's hard to top game 4. Brodeur whining to anyone he can skate to, followed by the stick smash into the boards after it was upheld.
The TV call from NJ is the icing on the cake for me.

Was watching this last night, and my wife said "I can't get used to Brind'Amour playing out there." ???
I'm still not used to looking at RBA in a suit on the bench and realizing he can't jump over to take a key faceoff.

And we were AT game 1 of this series. I am so confused right now.

I used my skills to massively troll Buffalo fans in my section the series after... mostly comments about their levels of intoxication.
