OT a bit, but what a fun night with all the old players, etc.. My wife and I really enjoyed the relaxed personalities (for a change).. not to sound too geeky, but it kinda was one of those nights that gave me the warm fuzzy's about hockey again.

Rico is the perfect center for Jones and Terry. He's a smart player who sees the game well, isn't selfish, and typically makes the right play. He can let Jones-Terry play their speed/skill game and be in the best supporting position for them. Wouldn't hate that line going forward and next season.

Yeah, but for some reason Frenchie occasionally gets put on the 4th line and given locker room duties, and they keep giving rookies Frenchie's top line spot. Maybe we can blame that on RC too?

I wouldn't say that either, if you read a GDT from the Boudreau era you might find more complaints(more leads to defend) about it. People hate it because it's either boring or exciting for all the wrong reasons but I'd say it works pretty well.

someone mentioned he went back to his regular visor tonight. wonder if that has had any issues on his play.

we know it did with getzy when he tried to put a visor on after he got that facial injury. eventually getz went back to no visor

His new mask is great. Love the matte/scorched x-wing metal look and the giant rebel alliance logo. I'm guessing it was supposed to be for Star Wars night
