also it's pretty crazy that in the 02-03 season the WCE line almost produced two 50 goal scorers

Naslund finished that season with 48 goals and Bertuzzi had 46. That's ****ing dominant, goddamn. Morrison also hit his career high with 25 that year.

almost 120 goals scored by a single line in 82 games

what the ****

in contrast, the entirety of our team last year finished with 180 goals in 82 games
Add in the fact that scoring around the league was at a very low point and it becomes even more impressive.

i know we already all know this, but i'm going to do the accounting again just because it still astonishes me:

2001-02, should have been a 2nd team all-star but his votes were split between LW and RW (bertuzzi)

2002-03, 1st team all-star, 5th in hart voting (bertuzzi)

2003-04, nevermind

2005-06,
ruutu-o.gif

2006-07, 2nd team all-star, 2nd in vezina voting, 2nd in hart voting (luongo); 3rd in all-star voting (d sedin)

2008-09, 3rd in all-star voting (luongo)

2009-10, 2nd team all-star (d sedin)

2010-11, 1st team all-star, 2nd in hart voting, art ross, lindsay award (d sedin); 3rd in vezina voting, jennings trophy (luongo)

man, what a trade. and to think, bryan mccabe briefly became an all-star too.

3rd and 4th in goals; 3rd, 3rd, and 8th in assists; 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 8th in points; 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, and 9th in wins. a decade of mostly good times from bertuzzi's godmode spring of 2002 to duncan keith’s flying elbow. i mean, kesler got us sutter, sbisa, and gudbransyon.
