Shooters are hard to find. At this time the Oilers need offensive support for players like Weight.

Penguins game: 2-13: 3-1 Penguins: The Oilers had a third period pushback, but it wasn't intense or sustained enough. Koskinen was the Oilers goalie.

Carolina game: 2-15: 3-1 Carolina: The Oilers played a strong offensive game for most of the duration. They had a lot of scoring chances earlier in the game. They also kept Carolina's shot total low. McDavid seemed good earlier in the game, and Koskinen looked okay throughout.

NYI game: 2-16: 5-2 NYI: Koskinen did let in a couple muffins. The PP was 1-for-5, but their setup was quite weak on this occasion. The Oilers didn't really get a cycle going either. They have lost four straight and are kind of far from the final wildcard spot. On the bright side, Draisaitl is continuing his goal scoring ways.

Coyotes game: 2-19: 3-2 Coyotes (shootout victory): The Oilers really came along in the third and overtime with sustained pressure and scoring chances. This was without McDavid, as he was out with illness. Koskinen played well. The Oilers still need some secondary scoring.

Avalanche game: 12-11: 6-4 Oilers: RNH played another very good game, but it was the sustained offensive onslaught, spearheaded by the top line (McDavid and Draisaitl), that ultimately led to the Oilers victory. Koskinen and the overall defensive game of the Oilers slipped a bit at the end. Rantanen was a lot to handle, and the defense had to shift around a bit during the course of the game. Klefbom may actually be injured. It seems like it'll end up being a minor injury, though.

NYI game: 2-21: 4-3 Oilers (overtime victory): The Oilers did well on shots on goal and faceoffs. This was a strange game, as all the scoring was at the beginning and end, it was up for grabs in the middle, and it wasn't that intense overall, physically or otherwise. McDavid's and Draisaitl's chemistry came through again to get this victory. Koskinen has been making some nice saves at this point in the season.

Anaheim game: 2-23: 2-1 Oilers: This was the first game of McDavid's two-game suspension. It was a good team effort in terms of sound defense, and Koskinen made some crucial saves.
