Who's gonna sign? where? who's gonna have to sign super cheap? who's gonna end up retiring? not finding job?

Your predictions.....

PS cant believe that Vermette is still available, super strong on faceoffs, can kill penalties, still a little bit of offense for a 4th liner.....

Vermette to the Leafs on a PTO. Minds will be blown!

Colorado was dead last in faceoff percentage by nearly 3% from #30. Vermette would be a good fit.

Enstrom in Montreal, Pouliot in Anaheim are two that make sense.

If he decides to return Nash to Boston would probably be a fit. Something mid way through the year would be ideal

Nash to LA. Kovalchuk - Carter - Nash would have been the filthiest line in the league ten years ago.

Someone should grab Wingels. Good 12/13 forward. Plays PK, finishes his checks, a bit of offence.

Enstrom to Anaheim.

Sbisa to Florida or NYI, maybe SJS.

Emelin to SJS.

Nash to NJ.

It wouldn’t have been that good. They were all fantastic players and they’re all still good but the lack of a true dynamic pure playmaker would have hurt them.

Wingels sucks.

San Jose won’t touch that trash. They don’t need another bottom pairing guy.

Pretty much. That's why some of the theoretically solid lines for the Rangers never worked well. Nash - Hayes - Zuccarello felt like it should've been a top line, but all of those guys need the puck to be offensively effective.

To be fair, that line is missing a legitimate #1C and is so not up to par with an NHL top line. It looks like a pretty solid 2nd line in terms of purely how good each player is.

Sorry--I meant a Rangers top line...we've had our centers by committee over the last few years. Lots of solid 2-way centers that work in the 1C role or very good 2Cs (Hayes, Zibanejad, Stepan, etc.), but none of those game-breaking centers of a true 1C caliber.

But, anyway, when they put those guys together, it just never worked well
