Somewhere in time
We cannot loose EVERY deciding game in every tournament....so Im calling it now! Austria will win and stay in the A-Pool despite an abysmal first round. If they show up like they did for the game against Slovenia they can win this.

If we will keep taking bad penalties and wont be able to score on our chances, Austria will probably win, but that's probably pretty obvious.

Falling out of the elite division is not the end of the world, but it is sometimes difficult to get back in. Our guys seriously need to work on their physical aptitude. Once we'll have the speed, nothing will be too extraordinary difficult. All the national team players should spend some of their summer vacation time in some kind of training camp, where they would be trained in endurance.

Austrians want to stay, so do we. This might turn into a slaughter.

Don't know if going down to Division I would change something in our federation. Probably not, so i hope we stay in.

Pains to see how all the other nations we were (nearly) on par with have developed the last few years, except us.

Go Austria!

The refs have sure intimidated us. Every time Latvians touch Austrian players, they nervously look on the refs. And now PP for Austria.

Despite the score, the Austrians look better offensively.

I cant really agree on this. They are controlling the puck more, but thats about it. Latvia def is not that great eather - loads of mess arround from both teams, but thats what you basically expect from such nervous game.

Yeah, agree on that. Also the game looks more like a Div I game.

Austria will probably lose this one. On the other hand, they killed the hope for Slovenians at the end of the day- the only thing that will (80%) keep us in the A division. That's hockey, hugh.
