It is so nice and quiet outside I'll have to save I do love that. Not much cars or loud vehicles and those ridiculously loud harley's... I'm enjoying it.

It's cool. She can express her view just as I did mine. It's alright.
But... I do agree paper money has no real 'value'.
All this stuff, I bet they push for a moneyless society after this, which would never fly without something like this happening.

@Honour Over Glory

So hey. Are you 100% sure you have CV?
How different is it from just a normal illness? Same thing or what?
I finally got to the hospital to be tested and told me because my symptoms are mild I don't need to be held and quarantined so they sent me home and told my gf to stay away from me and she was like I mean that's a little too late now no?

I've lost 10lbs from the diarrhea alone.

When I say BC is ill prepared I'm being generous. There are 424 confirmed cases, my old ass is one of those and they're trending to being as bad as Italy and they are still not taking it seriously enough. Like at all, mate.

Also thank God for booze delivery. I'm stocked on those Moscow mules from muddlers and stocked up on Gin.

Yeah still see people in big groups at parks and stuff here in Vic...like WTF??? it's not a regular day outside because it's sunny we got a global pendemic, you need to be inside or else maybe alone in nature away from people but don't touch anything out there as those were touched by other people too, just enjoy nature by yourself with nobody around you.

Yeah someone showed me a video of whiterock yesterday and it was packed. No parking and a ton of people. Like I don't get that logic. Why is that even open? From what I saw, there were at least 300+ people there. No distancing.

Was like that the other day at mt tolmie, we went for a drive and everyone was at the top outside together and stuff. If you stay inside your vehicle and it's wiped it's ok but don't be around people in groups.

Same. Bunch of morons taking their families to the parks here too. Parking lot packed....with groups milling about.

Open a window and put a YouTube video on of someone walking in nature or something...or go sit in your backyard. Technically our national/state parks in California are closed. But local are not.

Or. Just stay inside. It really hasn't been long enough to be stir crazy, yet.

Lots of people on the road for 'essential' travel only, too.

It is a relief to just stay in and not have to pretend to be nice to people.

I don’t have any problem with people going to nature, but there are so many people here in SF that insist on not moving on these narrow pathways, forcing me to jump into the bushes to get 6 feet of separation. The joggers too who feel entitled to just jog past you within two feet of you...it’s a mockery of social distancing and so many people couldn’t give a shit...the rate of infections is ballooning and people treat that requirement like it’s a joke...I hope they become sick and there are no hospital beds for them...

Yup.

It's that mentality that will ensure this is just the beginning of our problems.

Just.
Sit.
The.
f***.
Still.

Let this shit die out. But no, they want the draconian laws to come down. The supplies to continue to run low. The world for those of us in essential positions to get even f***ing worse.

Because they can't f***ing stop jogging. f*** your jogging. Seriously. f*** it. If you do not need FOOD right now, riiiiiight now, stop moving about. There is nothing more important for people to be doing.

Yeah. Thats great you don't feel too bad. The biggest threat with diarrhea/vomit is dehydration. Fluids are essential. (you know this stuff)
Does loperamide work to clog you up or do you use something else?

I don't get who is flying right now?

I check the flight tracking websites are there are thousands of planes flying around the world right now like nothing happened.

Whats going on there?

This.

It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change

Check out this cargo plane....
Atlas Air (5Y) #4231 ✈ FlightAware
For like a week they have a listed departure from Italy and arrival in North Carolina....I am guessing each day they were delayed or flight was cancelled?

Wonder what they shipped there or are bringing here?

Do Canadian kids act as stupid as US kids during Spring Break? I was in Blaine yesterday, could see White Rock, all of 5km away, yet it could have been a million miles as they're not letting me cross the border, NEXUS card or not. Weather was glorious, but never imagined people were congregating like that there. Always figured you Canadians were more thoughtful than we Yanks... ;-)

Mate I'm a British Yank that lives in Canada. Canadians are generally wankers in British Columbia. No offence to my local bc mates here, you lot are cool.

But yeah there were hundreds of people at whiterock and it's like, this is why bc is trending to being as bad as Italy.

My....... I don't know what she is actually... a blood line relative from the old country keeps in touch with me and she told me today that Slovakia cases are at 200. I asked, is that high? Not really sure, but it seems good. I mean it could be way higher.

Yeah people are so idiotic. I saw a bloke with two face masks. First one was a "fashion" face mask.

It's people like that we need to cull.
