Alan Lyszczaryk to Mississauaga was how it ended up in Owen Sound.
Thank you everyone for being patient. I finally updated the database will all the June trade window transactions just in time for August one to start up in a few days . Sorry for this taking a while!
Cheers, and no prob!! I was just asking if it had been updated and wanted to keep the thread good and handy. I know I refer to it fairly often, I am a bit of a geek when it comes to these kind of things.
2019 transactions has Miss ‘19-2nd to Petes via OS. It shows Miss 2020-2nd in OHL media notes. The Petes had one ‘19-2nd (Guyev) that was formerly Kingston’s, I believe.
Thanks for updating this. There is one change from the trade that Ottawa made with Windsor for Michael Dipietro. Because Egor Afanasyev has signed with Windsor, Ottawa gets their own 2021 2nd and 3rd round picks returned to them as well as their 2022 3rd rounder.
Really appreciate all your great work!
I see you also returned Ottawa's 2024 second as Swankler signed with Erie. Great job Coolwood, much appreciated.
Please update Flint’s database to include the Eric Uba trade to Guelph. Flint received Guelph’s 2020 3rd round pick and a conditional 5th round pick from Guelph in 2023 should Uba play his overage season with the Storm. Thank you.
Flint and Guelph at it again with Guelph receiving a 3rd and 5th from Flint in 2020 in exchange for Popovich.
Guelph gets Flint's 2020 3rd and Ottawa's 2020 5th (from Flint).
Liam Hawel to Kitchener, Guelph receives:
KIT 15th 2020*
GUE 2nd 2020*
SBY 2nd 2023*
MISS 3rd 2023*
With Hawel playing a game, the conditions on all those picks have been met. Kitchener gets back the 15th, Guelph gets the other 3 picks.
Thank you! That makes my life easy!
Yeah, it'd be nice if they just announced what the conditions are when there are conditions attached. I heard this on the radio the next morning, so I assume it's correct, but I suppose I don't know for sure. But it does match up with all reports when the trade was announced (that it would be 2 seconds and a third).
When it comes to conditional picks it usually falls under 3 categories games played, points amassed, or playoff rounds won depending upon the player profile.
However more times then not its usually games played that is the set standard for conditional picks.
Last year, conditions on Chase Campbell to the Rangers were that if he was still on the roster on Jan 1st, we had to send an additional pick.
I assume that conditions can be whatever the two teams decide they want them to be provided the league ok's it.
For me, it would only be this type of condition under which I would trade for Ryan Merkley if I were so inclined to do so. Send Peterboro a pick (3rd?) and then maybe two 2nds plus plus plus if he's still on my roster on January 1.
To whomever is looking after this database - great job and thank you!
Jump want to bump this up because i'm sure it'll be used a lot more in the coming weeks! LOL
So Coolwood - this has to be your easiest trade deadline ever, at least so far.
Does anyone know how Erie got their 2nd round pick in 2022 back?
This is the trade from today as per the OHL website

Erie Acquires Anthony Cirelli from Oshawa – Erie OttersConditions:
> ERI 2ND 2024 (COND) and ERI 6TH 2020 (COND) Currently Unknown
> Conditions have been met:
> OSH received FLT 2ND 2019, acquired by ERI vIa trades from FLT to LDN to SSM to ERI. OSH made the pick but no record of the pick being dealt (drafted Daniel Michaud).
> OSH received ERI 6TH 2019 which there is no record of this pick being traded but the pick was made by OSH (drafted Owen Brady).
> ERI 2ND 2024 and ERI 6TH 2020 retained by ERI. Believed the FLT 2ND 2019 and ERI 6TH 2019 fulfilled the conditions.Looking at both what I have and what coolwood has Erie has the Soo 2nd in 2022 and Oshawa has Erie's 2nd round pick in 2022.
I was just about to come here and ask the same question lol. You're right that there doesn't appear to have been any movement of that pick since the Cirelli trade. Maybe just a typo and should be Soo's 2nd in 2022?
Maybe. We'll see if it gets changed or do we have another issue with a pick being traded that didn't belong to a team.
(Maybe) the Flint ‘19-2nd owned by Erie out of nowhere that OSH used, was payment for *’24-2nd pick bumped up to take place of ‘22-2nd.
Also, I read a post in Erie pre-season thread that had that pick and a 3rd paid for. But, I couldn’t follow the rationale, so...Idk.
The Flint 2nd 2019 was for the conditional 2nd 2024, had nothing to do with the 2022 2nd. Been trying to find a deal where Osh owed a conditional that the 2022 2nd covered and that team owed erie a conditional as well but not able to find one.
