Both the Red Wings and Senators have been struggling and rebuilding lately, Detroit is off to a strong start this year but they have had strong starts in the past few years only for it to crash halfway into the season.

Was wondering who do you see having a more successful rebuild?

I’d take the Sens core over the Wings but the Wings GM over the Sens GM.

Tough choice

I don't know enough about Lalonde and his staff but probably coaching too

Sens won't do much until the management and the coaching staff are revamped, which should happen when the team inevitably gets sold.

They have a lot of high quality pieces already but the whole thing really needs more structure and better depth

Stutzle, Tkachuk, Norris, Batherson, DeBrincat, Pinto and a great veteran in Giroux

Chabot, Sanderson, Zub (if extended), Brannstrom and JBD in development

Some other prospects (Greig and Sogaard notably) might add to that wealth

Talent is there, need to figure out how to organize it and build more team cohesion/chemistry

Detroit will fall off and miss the postseason again imo.

Ottawa will make wholesale changes at the end of this year. Better coach & GM from New owners.

I also think Ottawa has more high end pieces.

Sens is my answer.

Sens are trash. They only look good on paper because of overhype. They still need a top pair, a top line C and depth.

Seider is having trouble because of Chiarot but hes a better player than anyone on the Sens.
