Is Blash planning on starting a line brawl? Seems odd to keep calling up Witter when Smith is playing.

I'd rather see Berggren or Pearson than those 2. Need to start evaluating talent for next season.

Haven't you noticed how those taxi squad guys are used?

They are not playing. They are just warm bodies for a surprise situation, if big amount of players are out at same time.

So calling up those younger players to sit at pressbox, is not evaluating talent. It's just wasting their time.

Yeah, but they'll play if there's an injury much like Barber did. Not to mention Gagner and Erne have been pretty useless lately, so I wouldn't mind seeing Pearson getting a game.

Calling up players with no chance of playing doesn't put any pressure on the bottom end roster players.
