It's so easy to blame an ankle injury, originally happend in mid december, almost 3 months now, there is not a problem with his ankle, he wouldn't play if there were any.

I forgot to post this earlier. But being in Guelph I was able to watch the Storm/SSM game on local TV.

He would probably be a huge asset to our powerplay right now, he's just so calm with the puck and knows where to be. Everyone talks about his shot and for good reason, it's hard and accurate.

His defence was a different story. Although a few of his minuses were as the result of his defence partner or a shot the goalie should have had. A couple were results of him being out of position. Guelph abused all the Dman, including Sproul, using speed and stretch passes to almost perfection. That's where Sproul is going to need some work.

It was a high ankle sprain, which is what annoyed Crosby for a few months a while back. It's not a short term injury. It basically screws up your entire season. I think we should cut Ouellet some slack on this one.

Jensen 0+0, -1, 6 SOG
Marshall 0+0, +1, 2 SOG
McKee 0+0, +1, 12 PIM
De Haas 0+0

ECHL:
Parkes 3+1, +2, 10 SOG, 1st star
Coetzee 1+2, +1, 4 SOG, 2nd star
Pearce 20/21 saves, 7-1 win.

It's kinda funny how McKee is putting up more points than Jensen the year after he was drafted, although McKee was not drafted in his actual draft year 2011. Both in the USHL of course:
Jensen 09/10 at 19 yo: 53 GP 6+21=27, 0.509 PPG
McKee 12/13 at 19 yo: 37 GP 3+17=20, 0.541 PPG

To be fair with Xavier, the whole Blainville team has been struggling for awhile now. 12-10 since the WJC's and 14-15 in the last 3 months ... Asides from the big end of October, he's putting up points at the same pace he has all season ... He's a great defensive player on a team that goes defense-first ... Just how their coach Houle plays the game ... I wouldn't be too concerned.

Bodin is back playing with HV71 U20, was in the lineup yesterday and today. He was listed as their only 4th line forward so I assume they're missing some players, no points and 2 SOG in the two games together. His role doesn't seem to be big but at least he's back on the ice.

They have two games left before the playoffs, and HV71 is 2nd in the standings at the moment.

No points for Pulkkinen but a good overall game from him. 6 shots and 16:12 icetime. He's only getting very limited PP time atm which obviously effects his points. Two more regular season games to go.

Järnkrok finished 8th in scoring with 13 G + 29 A = 42 PTS
Bäckman finished 8th in d-man scoring with 2 G + 24 A = 26 PTS

Nice, hopefully Backman can move up to the top in d-men scoring next season before heading over to NA.
