Coming off a retooling phase the Wings won’t turn the roster around overnight, or in one season, it will be a controlled methodical process. With that in mind, while there are some areas that could use an upgrade, the team won’t rush to address them given there are a few players that should be ready to step in for the 2012/13 season. Of course if the right deal presents itself, especially in terms of a puck moving blueliner, the team wouldn’t say no.

If I had to pick the 5 most probable guys to debut in a regular role on the 2012/13 Wings roster they would be:
J. Josefsson, Brett McLean, Nick Johnson, Tomas Kubalik, and M-A Gragnani.

Players out:
Ebbett, Nystrom, Parrish, Svatos, Rivet, Redden, Koistinen

New 2011/12 regulars:
Belanger, Santorelli, McMillan, Brent, Roszival, Weber, Sbisa

Expected line-up:
Ryder - Belanger - Giroux
Versteeg - Grabovski - Boyes
Dumont - Hanzal - Santorelli
B. McMillan - Betts - Brent

Gleason – Wilson
Roszival – Weber
Sbisa – Eminger

Lundqvist
Labarbera

Note: 12 of the 20 starters were drafted or signed as UDFA's by the HFNHL Red Wings.
