You played on the road last night though.

I'm just glad the wings finally got a win.

Don't worry, even if you finish ahead of us somehow, the lottery will jump you ahead of us. Must be nice to be a fan of a real franchise.

Lost in the shuffle of all this sucking Detroit has done, is the fact that Larkin (Face-offs aside) is really beginning to look like an elite center, and Cholowski is really, REALLY good for his age.

I want them to play like they care. If they aren’t good enough we’ll end up with a top 5 pick. But never embrace losing.
A losing culture is the last thing you want. That being said the wings have their first overall for a deep upcoming draft so it would cushion the blow.

Larkin’s faceoff% is 54.5% this year.

Larkin looks like he has taken 3 steps forward this season. Looks like a true 1c

Nyquist has been buzzing creating chances game in game out. Looking more like a playmaker than a sniper.

Bertuzzi has been fantastic.

Cholowski looks like a solid second pair guy for now, still makes a few rookie mistakes but passing is clean and crisp.

Rasmussen after a roughish start is starting to come around and is looking better each game.

Howards really been keeping them in games.

Rest of the team, meh. Mantha is a lazy floater 4 of 5 games, helm on the first line can’t bury any of his chances, somehow Glendening is always on the ice in OT, Nielsen is invisible until shootouts, and the rest of the team is just there,

Wings are still likely headed for a bottom 5 finish. Just wanted to bump this to show that they have started playing more respectable hockey after a historically bad start.

Lots of positives for the future going on. As much as Wings need another high draft pick or two, it's fun to see the team fighting expectations and winning some games.

That moment when you realize Dylan Larkin (17) has more points than his most common linemates, Mantha (7) and Helm, (5) combined.
