Hey guys, Bruins fan here coming in peace. Just wondering would you consider trading Spezza to the Bruins for David Backes once he is back in about 6 weeks? Backes has one extra year, but also makes $1.5M less. Maybe a change of scenery does these guys some good. Backes can play both C and RW.

Backes has even less in his tank than Spezza. No thanks.

No Spezza could produce zero points and I would still take him because his money is off the books at key time.

Mostly 10 minutes per night under Hitch. And not always with great wingers, or even at center. Like Modano and others, Hitch is trying to create a $7.5M checking center. Of course, we figured he would also be on the downhill slide by this point, and he is.
